Overview

Hanko is an authentication backend with passkeys, passwords, and passcodes, plus OAuth SSO and SAML enterprise SSO. Hanko Elements are web components for login and profile screens. It supports MFA with TOTP and security keys, server-side sessions, and webhooks. The backend is AGPL-3.0, the Elements and frontend SDK have their own licenses, and Hanko Cloud is the managed option.
